    HOW do you give it though? Is it like the LDS church where you are required to hand it to a bishop, everything is recorded, and he knows your financial information, and if skip a month you are unworthy . I am wondering if it is as intrusive as the LDS church.

    The Koran does not mandate an age for circumcision to be done ; so yes like he states one might take time to think if it is right for you or not .Also to realize that it is only sunnah ; not obligation . Also like he says it is about cleanness; and one can keep clean without a physical circumcision . And like he states , the bottom line ; it is about faith ; weather one has or not a physical circumcision .

    We need to stop addressing the head cover as hijab. Hijab is compulsory for the body, the question is, is the head cover compulsory? And if the answer is yes, how much of the hair do you have to cover, because back in the days, head cover didn't always cover the entire hair, men and women both used to wear it, mainly for social and climate reasons.

    • @user-hl1ni7hg2e
      @user-hl1ni7hg2e 2 місяці тому

      No, covering hair is a part of Hijab. And it's compulsory

    • @Joshua-numbed
      @Joshua-numbed 2 місяці тому

      @@user-hl1ni7hg2e Of course the head cover can be as address as a hijab, hijab could be anything. For example, Allah swt's hijab is Noor. But I have never come across an authentic Hadith or a verse in the Quran where it explicitly tells the women to cover their hair. Do you know of any authentic sources?

    • @hashimabbas6729
      @hashimabbas6729 2 місяці тому

      Obviously the hair is meant to be covered, it is awrah, even the 4 schools of thought agree on it, and the mass amount of scholars agree on this. The sahabas themselves too. The word khimar itself, THE SORD ITSELF has the meaning of covering the head. And khimar is a head cover which is long at a certain length, and Allah was telling to put the khimars in front because back then they would put their khimars behind. But the covering of the head is already part of the word

    • @Joshua-numbed
      @Joshua-numbed 2 місяці тому

      @@hashimabbas6729 that's my question, how do you know if it's awrah? If you study the history of fashion and clothing, you can see that the khimar came in different styles back in the day, not all of them covered their entire hair, some used the khimar just to cover the face and neck. So, I'm not arguing whether the khimar means the head cover or not, my question is where did Allah or Muhammad sm say that it's mandatory to cover the hair? Some scholars argue that the face is also awrah, some say the eyes are also awrah, some say the feet is awrah, some say the voice is awrah. Just because the majority thinks it's awrah doesn't make it true, as a Muslim we don't believe in the majority, we believe in what was revealed. I understand the tool(headcover) itself is already there, but I don't see any specific command to use it for covering the head or hair, in fact it emphases on the fact that it should be used to cover the chest. The verse says nothing about keeping it or removing it. Also, note that Khimar is just the name of the garment. The garment could be used for anything, and in this verse Allah commanded to use it for covering the chest. I asked this question because, didn't Allah say to not innovate in Islam and make things Haram or Halal according to our own will? If Allah didn't say it, He didn't say it and that's it. Why twist his words? If you can find me an authentic source to prove that Allah Himself or the prophet Muhammad sm himself said it's mandatory to cover the hair I have no problem believing in it. I'm frustrated because we made the head cover the entire identity of a Muslim woman, to the point where her Faith gets questioned if she doesn't wear it. So yeah, just mentioning a garment doesn't automatically mean something.

      @@Joshua-numbed First of all, I do not know if you are a Muslim or not, but I will suppose that you are Muslim. The two major books in Islam are the Quran (Verbatim words of Allah) and Sahih Hadith (sayings, actions, and statements of prophet Mohammed PBUH). We receive the instructions from these two books. The Quran clearly says in (33:59), "O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful." How did the women apply this verse when it was revealed? (Sahih Al Bukhari, hadith number 4759): Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba:Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their heads and faces with those cut pieces of cloth." (Sahih Al Bukhari, hadith number 372): Narrated Aisha: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to offer the Fajr prayer and some believing women covered with their veiling sheets used to attend the Fajr prayer with him and then they would return to their homes unrecognized. The Quran says that believers (women and men) have no choice but to obey Allah and his messenger. {See surah 33:36) The Quran says that we should ask the people of Knowledge if we do not know. (See surah 16:43) (******) We do not understand the Quran according to everyone's knowledge. We apply the Quran the same way The Prophet did and the companions (males and females) did. Our morals are taken from Quran and Hadith. Not society or the way we feel. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said this: Two are the types of the denizens of Hell whom I did not see: people having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people, and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked, who would be inclined (to evil) and make their husbands incline towards it. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side.They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance. (Sahih Muslim, hadith number 2128) At the end I want to say two things: If you are not Muslim, do not share false info to deceive people for you will be punished on the day of judgment. (see Surah 11:18). The other thing I want to say is that hijab should be worn correctly. And Yes the entire hair and neck should be covered.

    • @Islamwise
      @Islamwise 8 місяців тому

      No it's just a different way to express that someone has converted. It's because some believe it is more correct to say that one has "reverted" to their natural disposition.

      Cuz Muslims believe that their religion is the oldest that Jesus and Abraham actually were Muslims and they believe that everyone is born as a Muslim but then get corrupted by parents and fo to become a kafir-infidel. And when you coverting they believe that you return to your original faith

    I understand that we cover our hair but how do we know or be sure that it means to cover every single hair? Yes long ago the woman covered their heads and Allah said bring the Khimar to the front and cover your bosoms but why would the woman be so strict without Gods command prior to getting told bring it to the front to cover yourselves, to cover each and every hair? Yes we see woman from centuries covering their heads but were never religiously covering every hair. So when Allah commanded us He didn't say cover it so nothing no hair be seen He said draw it over the front, didn't mention how it should be on the head. Again I'm sure women were not careful to hide every bit of hair back in the days, why would they? You see what I mean. I'm just trying to understand this, it's not clear to me. Though I've worn hijab all my life, I would like to know with true evidence. Jazakallah kher

    • @shiumerrr
      @shiumerrr 5 місяців тому

      I would also like to see the evidence, there’s also many false hadith with regards to hijab as well. The hadith in which prophet PBUH is said to have said that women should cover all except hands and face is a weak hadith. The only evidence we have to go off on is like you have mentioned the Quran verse with the word ‘khimar’ and there have been Muslim women from long ago that have been known to have not covered their hair so it is not by any means a new thing for Muslim women to not cover hair. However, there is the more logical approach of the fact that most Muslim women in those times did veil themselves, whether it was for showing their wealth or , to protect from the sun, whichever it was, its still true. And Allah has mentioned in the Quran the generation of Prophet Muhammed is the most perfect out of all of us, therefore by that logic we should be covering our hair like they have done. Then there’s also the fact that, hair is beautiful. And so it is logical to interpret a verse in which women are asked to be modest by covering their bosom with a head covering, they have to cover hair as well, since it is beautiful like I have said. Then one can make the argument no man thinks of women’s hair as sexual and so on and so forth. This argument can go on forever, and with this how I see it is, it is a good thing to follow those who were the prophet’s generation. It is a good thing to follow the majority of the interpretations by respected scholars who have concluded covering hair is a must, actually it is wajib… so technically the argument should end there. As a female with hijabi female friends and lives in an all Muslim country where hijab is so normal and fashion forward to the point, most men don’t see it as a sign to not harass women, i still believe that when it comes down to it, when Allah asks you why didn’t you just cover your hair and why were you so stubborn… that would be heartbreaking and i think it is better to be safe than sorry. This coming from a young woman who has never worn hijab, but have decided to take steps into wearing it… and it took me my entire childhood and young adult years to realize. Sorry if this was long but you just have the same thought process i did and wanted to just respond and put in my two cents. 🤍
